BTF Technology Private Limited is seeking an experienced Digital Plant Architect to design and implement the process, data flow, and target technical architecture for a Connected Plant and Paperless Manufacturing environment. This role is critical to developing and integrating IT/OT systems, ensuring seamless communication between shop floor devices and enterprise systems. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, process design capabilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Mapping
- Develop an integrated IT/OT process map spanning Level 0 to Level 4 of the ISA-95 model.
- Assess existing processes and incorporate future trends to design systems supporting business capabilities for a digital plant and lighthouse initiatives.
- Data Flow Design
- Map production data flow from machine sensors to ERP order details, ensuring data consistency and transparency across the production value chain.
- Define and optimize data sharing mechanisms between shop floor devices and backend systems.
- Technical Architecture Development
- Design end-to-end digital manufacturing architectures to achieve paperless factory operations.
- Integrate key technologies, including:
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
- Environmental Monitoring Systems
- Building Management Systems
- Data Historians
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- ERP production modules
- Digital worker tools like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Digital Daily Management (DDM) systems.
- Ensure interoperability and seamless communication between IT and OT systems.
- Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with production, engineering, automation, OT, and IT global teams to achieve shared development goals.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to facilitate alignment on requirements, design solutions, and implementation strategies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT/OT architecture, digital manufacturing, or a similar domain.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing digital factory systems and integrating diverse technologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies, ISA-95 standards, and digital transformation frameworks.Defined target technical architecture supporting seamless IT/OT integration.
