Overview

We are seeking an Industrial IoT Digital Consultant with experience in the Biotechnology and Pharma industry to join our innovative team. Your role as an Industrial IoT Digital Consultant will involve working closely with our global clients and driving the digital transformation of their operational processes. Your expertise in IoT technologies will be crucial in enhancing productivity, ensuring compliance, and optimizing the manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and IT, to develop and implement tailored IoT solutions that align with our clients’ strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IoT applications within the biotech sector, coupled with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses, formulating implementation strategies, and providing continuous support throughout the deployment of IoT initiatives. Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of current operations to identify and evaluate IoT opportunities.
• Design and develop IoT strategies specifically tailored to the biotech industry.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate IoT solutions seamlessly into existing processes.
• Analyze data collected from IoT devices to generate actionable insights that drive operational improvements.
• Develop clear and comprehensive implementation plans, including project timelines and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout IoT implementations.
• Provide training and ongoing support to staff on new IoT systems, tools, and processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest IoT trends and technologies to continuously improve our digital initiatives.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

• Experience:
  • At least 2-3 years of management experience in Industrial IoT, particularly within the manufacturing or biotechnology sectors.
  • Proven experience in implementing IoT applications and digital transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of L0/1/2 in Operations Technology in Smart Factories and high-Level knowledge of PLCs, HMI, SCADA, MES is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and IoT technologies, including sensors, devices, and cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to inform decision-making and strategy.

• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with global clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking with a focus on practical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Project Management:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with a focus on digital transformation and IoT initiatives.
